Behind LAID BACK lies a vision of timelessness. We wanted to create an object that not only fits into a modern home, but one that becomes part of the home’s story. A coat rack that does more than hold jackets, it holds memories.
The pegs can be moved freely, allowing both children and adults to use it comfortably. As needs change, the piece evolves.
On the back, LAID BACK offers a measuring stick for recording your child’s height as they grow. Parents can mark the years directly onto the wood, creating a personal archive of milestones. Over time, this transforms the piece into a meaningful living record of childhood that can be passed down through generations.
LAID BACK is designed in collaboration with designer Philip Bro, the design duo HarritSørensen and WeDoWood. Our common mission was to create a design with the next generation in mind, a design that invites us to slow down, take note, and invest in things meant to last.
